Air Guard Joint Fabric is a strong, elastic polyester-reinforcing fabric.
It is a lightweight material ideal for use with cold-applied mastics. Air
Guard Joint Fabric conforms easily and readily to irregular shapes
and surfaces.

Uses:
Air Guard Joint Fabric is designed for use as the reinforcing fabric
over the horizontal and vertical joints in plywood or OSB framing
prior to the installation of the Air Guard VPA membrane system.
Applications:
Air Guard Joint Fabric is the reinforcement layer in the Air Guard VPA
membrane system. Typically is embedded in a base coating of Air
Guard VPA, carefully brushed to ensure complete adhesion, and top
dressed with an additional layer of Air Guard VPA membrane.
