applications. Made of 70% post-consumer recycled fibers, ThermalDrape continues the tradition of innovative
insulation products pioneered by GMX.
With the ability to breathe, the use of ThermalDrape will greatly reduce the risk of condensation formation and the harmful bacterial growth that can occur because of the presence of moisture.
Traditional fiberglass blankets and foam board products trap warm moist air and allow condensation to form when environmental conditions lower the temperature of the exterior wall. The presence of moisture gives rise to bacterial growth and is the ideal breeding ground for all types of fungi, including mold and mildew.
With built-in anti-microbial protection, you can rest easy knowing that ThermalDrape gives you maximum protection against harmful organisms that can degrade your indoor air quality. Thermal Drape meets ASTM E84 Class A requirements for use without a thermal or ignition barrier. Thermal Drape is supplied in R-5, R-10 and R-15 rolls (4’x20’).
