Air Guard® HVWZ Liquid Flashing is an STPE product developed to prevent the unwanted movement of water and air through building envelopes. Air Guard® HVWZ Liquid Flashing can be used as a gunnable liquid flashing and joint membrane in rough openings and counter flash waterproofing and air barrier components in new and existing wall assemblies. Air Guard® HVWZ Liquid Flashing is appropriate for vertical or horizontal above-grade applications to concrete, CMU, natural stone, structural sheathing, architectural metals, painted metals, glass, PVC, EPDM and most other building materials.
Coverage rate is approximately 2.5 fl/oz. of panel seam and approximately 0.70 fl/oz. of flashing at 12–15 mils thickness depending on substrate conditions, porosity and uniformity of application.
